Golf in Wales
Observations and things that are different Drinks: Already knew this one- no alcohol (or beer carts) on the course, but the addendum, no water either Golf range- this was new. No balls, bring your own balls (and collect them) Cash- first place in wales that didnt take card. Members card or cash.. Hard pan- probably not the norm but the norm this year due to drought. A miss hit ball can be almost as good as a good one. I miss hit a 9 iron from 119 out , topped it and it rolled on the green (and I got a par) Hills are a killer- nothign to stop the ball rolling off the fairway Hills - 2 for 2 so far South wales courses are cut into the hills. You get your exercise walking thats for sure singles twosomes- in the states as a solo, single player a large group will let you play through.
