Out and about, near apartment

My temp apartment is in Newport Wales.

looking at the map is was only a 20 min walk into city center

Newport is on the River Usk which feeds into the Bristol channel. 

One thing to note is the River Usk and the channel both have mud flat borders rthat vary with the tide.

As you may or may not know Wales is known for castles (known as castle capital of Europe)

 

Then as is common for most towns went to the Newport Market

There was also a mll in town, similar to the market it is arcade , open air with cover

and her is an arcade

some coronation art

some good classic architecture

and on a nice day a pint or two, I do appreciate the beers/ciders are served in brand spcific glasses
